Why sleep train at 4 months? đ¤
Around 4 months, your babyâs sleep matures, making it the ideal time to teach independent sleep skills.
Starting early can help with:
⨠Better night sleep
⨠Longer naps over time
⨠Less reliance on rocking or feeding to sleep
⨠Healthy sleep habits that last
Sleep training isnât about expecting your baby to sleep through the nightâitâs about giving them the skills to fall asleep independently.

There is something magical about ending the day with a book. đâ¨
A bedtime story is so much more than part of the routine. It helps little minds slow down, strengthens your bond, builds language, sparks imagination, and creates memories your child will carry for years to come.
These are our favourite bedtime books for little ones; the stories we come back to again and again because they leave children feeling safe, loved, and ready for sleep. đ¤
đ Our top picks:
⨠Guess How Much I Love You
đ The Snail and the Whale
𧾠The Invisible String
đ¨ The Koala Who Could
đ The Storm Whale
đŚ The Lion Inside
đŚ The Worrysaurus
đ° The Rabbit Listened
đ The Wonderful Things You Will Be
đ I love you to the moon and back
đŹ Weâd love to know whatâs the one bedtime book your family reads on repeat?
Share it below so we can all add to our reading lists!
Save this post for your next trip to the bookshop, and send it to a friend who loves reading with their little one. đđ

Here's why "good enough" routines outlast perfect ones. đ
We're taught that a routine only "works" if we follow it exactly â same time, same steps, no exceptions. But that's actually why so many routines fail. They're too rigid to survive real life.
A routine's real job isn't perfect ex*****on. It's predictability. When your child knows what's coming next, their nervous system relaxes â that's the actual mechanism behind why routines help. It doesn't matter if nap ran 20 minutes late or bedtime shifted an hour. What matters is the rhythm stays roughly the same, day after day.
The families who see results months down the line aren't the ones with a flawless, color-coded schedule. They're the ones with a simple routine they could realistically keep up â even on the chaotic days, even when life got in the way.
Because a "good enough" routine you can sustain for months will always beat a perfect one you burn out on in a week.
Consistency > perfection. That's the whole philosophy.
đ Why do you think good-enough routines work better long term than "perfect" ones? Tell me below đ
If you want a routine that's actually built to last, comment "Course" and I'll send you the link to the routines bundle đ¤

Imagine youâre helping a first-time mom create the *ultimate* baby registry.
Not the Pinterest-perfect version.
Not the âcute but never usedâ version.
The list that comes from experience.
⨠Price doesnât matter for this exercise. Weâre assuming family and friends can always group together for bigger gifts. We want to know what is **actually worth having**.
Whatâs the one thing (or five things!) you would tell every first-time mom to put on her registry?
Tell us:
đ¤ What the item is
đ¤ Why itâs worth it
đ¤ If possible, the brand or version youâd recommend
Think beyond the obvious...
The baby carrier you couldnât live without.
The white noise machine that saved your sanity.
The dim night light.
The giant muslins.
The medicine kit you wished youâd bought before 2am.
The tiny things nobody tells you about until you need them.
Letâs build the most helpful gift registry in the commentsâcreated by moms, for moms. đ
P.S. Weâll turn the best recommendations into a free First-Time Mom Registry Checklist for our community, so every comment helps another family. đ¤
