Three generations of Olympic🤼 experience. One mission: giving back.

Three of Gauteng North Wrestling's Olympians spent time investing in the next generation during the USA North West Cultural Exchange, led by Shaun Williams.

Their knowledge, passion and commitment continue to inspire the future stars of wrestling. Gauteng North Wrestling is proud to have Olympians who are not only champions on the mat, but mentors to the next generation.

What a performance from Gauteng North at the SAWF National Championship Freestyle U/17– Masters and Women! 🔵🔴

NGWA achieved 57 medal results, representing 51 individual wrestlers.

We are incredibly proud that two of our own coaches, Bennie Labuschagne and Heinrich Barnes, have been included on this prestigious list.

This recognition is a testament to their years of dedication, hard work, and passion for the sport of wrestling. Both Bennie and Heinrich have made an invaluable contribution to the development of wrestlers at club, provincial, and national level. They are not only exceptional coaches but also mentors who share their knowledge, experience, and love for the sport with young wrestlers every day.
