🇩🇪 First trial day at Waldhof Mannheim 🇩🇪

Alejandro spent the day at SV Waldhof Mannheim as part of his assessment with the club’s academy.

Alejandro trained with the academy players and was closely assessed by the academy coaching staff throughout the session. It was an opportunity for the coaches to evaluate him in a competitive academy environment, looking at his technical ability, decision-making, intensity, understanding of the game and how he adapts to the demands of German football.

For Alejandro, this was another important opportunity to put himself in front of academy coaches and show what he can do.

After being identified during The Football Union’s 2026 German Pro Tour, Alejandro has been invited back to Germany to train and participate in assessments with a number of professional clubs, including 1. FSV Mainz 05.

Over the next two weeks, Ale will have the opportunity to experience the German football environment, train at professional academies and showcase himself in front of club coaches and scouts.

A huge opportunity for a young player who continues to chase his dream.

After being identified during the tour, Ale has been invited back to Germany to train and participate in assessments with a number of professional clubs, including 1. FSV Mainz 05.

Over the next two weeks, he’ll have the opportunity to train in a professional academy environment, experience German football and showcase himself in front of club coaches and scouts.

Our weekly U7 & U9 festivals have grown into a weekly tournament, bringing players from our different venues together to compete, connect and enjoy the game. ⚽️

At this age, it’s about more than just winning. Players are learning how to compete, make decisions under pressure, work as a team and, most importantly, fall in love with playing football. ❤️

Blue Hills Raslouw launch 🔵⚽️ We were joined by current and former Mamelodi Sundowns players, Reyaad Pieterse, Thokozani Sekotlong & Aubrey Ngoma, for the official launch of our brand-new club training venue - Pinnacle Raslouw.

The players took the lead on the pitch, coaching our young players, sharing their experience and giving the next generation a glimpse into what it takes to reach the highest level of the game.

A special Mainz 05 Coaching Clinic delivered through our partnership with Schaechter Sports & Mainz 05.

Our coaching team took players through a training session designed by the German Bundesliga club, with the Mainz 05 academy coaches joining digitally to guide and coach the players on the ground.

Bringing German football methodology directly to our players, connecting them with a professional academy environment and creating opportunities to learn from one of Europe’s leading football clubs.

A great day of football, learning and international collaboration. ⚽️🔴⚪️

Another outstanding Mainz 05 Clinic at our partner venue, Camp Discovery, this time with the Kloof High School Senior Girls team.

Through our partnership with Schaechter Sports, we are proud to bring the renowned Mainz 05 Academy methodology to South Africa, with sessions delivered by official Academy coaches from Germany digitally and on the ground by our TFU Coaches.

These clinics provide players with a unique opportunity to experience elite European coaching, focusing on technical excellence, tactical awareness, and the professional standards that have made Mainz 05 one of Germany’s leading football academies.
