A special congratulations to our 14 junior golfers who participates in the 3 hole golf competition at the Adopt a Duckling Golf Day. ⛳️

The juniors performed exceptionally well, showing confidence, focus, and great sportsmanship throughout the competition. Their brilliant shots and positive attitude on the course were a wonderful reflection of the impressive progress they have made. 🤩👌🏻

Port Shepstone Country Club is incredibly proud of each junior golfer and we are excited to watch them continue growing in the game. These are our junior development golfers that join us at the club every Saturday morning ready to practice and the results are just amazing to witness. These young players represent the future of the club, and their enthusiasm and talent are truly inspiring. ✨️🏌‍♂️👏🏼

Adopt a Duckling Golf Day driven by Remax Coast & Country – 4 Ball Alliance, Scramble Drive (Saturday, 29 August 2026) 🐥⛳️

The Adopt a Duckling Golf Day was a wonderful success, bringing the community together for a meaningful fundraiser in support of schoolchildren, proudly driven by Remax Coast & Country 👏🏼⛳️

Before the main event got underway, 13 enthusiastic juniors took part in a special 3-hole competition. Each of the little golfers received a cap and a medal, making it a truly memorable experience for these young ducklings. It was amazing to see them come together in support of such a great cause. Well done, little ones! 🤩👌🏻✨️

A fantastic field of 80 players took part in the day, creating a lively and generous atmosphere from the moment registration opened. The morning began with a super-vibrant registration, setting the tone for a day filled with great golf, good humour, and community spirit. 🏌‍♂️⛳️

Players headed out for a 09:30 shotgun start, taking on the course in a fun 4-Ball Alliance format with a scramble drive. The energy out on the fairways was excellent, with plenty of watering holes along the way and the warm support of generous sponsors who helped make the day such a memorable occasion.
After the golf, the celebrations continued with live music by Jean Marie, adding a wonderful festive feel to the afternoon. Golfers were also treated to a delicious Build-a-Burger experience, the perfect way to relax, refuel, and enjoy time together after a great day on the course. ✨️👌🏻🤩

A heartfelt thank-you goes to RE/MAX Coast & Country for driving this special initiative, to all sponsors and watering hole hosts for their generosity, and to every golfer who participated in support of such an important cause.

Flower Power Music Quiz Night 🌸🕺🎶

The first Music Quiz Night was a blooming success, bringing plenty of colour, laughter, nostalgia, and good old-fashioned fun to the club. 🤩
With a fabulous 1960s Flower Power theme setting the tone, 14 teams of four took part in an evening filled with classic tunes, friendly competition, and plenty of memorable moments. The sensational Mother & Daughter duo, SuAmbi hosted the event with energy and flair, keeping the crowd entertained from start to finish. 👌🏻🎶

Teams thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of recognising iconic music from the 1960s, testing their knowledge while celebrating one of the most unforgettable eras in music history. The atmosphere was upbeat, festive, and full of community spirit. ✨️👏🏼🤩

Once the quiz concluded, the evening turned into an absolute blast as everyone took to the dance floor, proving that the music of the 60s still knows how to get a crowd moving. 🌸🕺

A fantastic turnout, a brilliant theme, and an unforgettable vibe made this first Music Quiz Night a standout success.

The day’s celebrations feature a Golf Classic competition played in an Individual Stableford format, bringing together players for a spirited round on the course in honour of South Africa’s rich heritage 🤩⛳️

Adding even more flavour to the festivities, the Sheppie Lions Potjie Champs will bring the courtyard to life with delicious aromas, friendly rivalry, and proudly local culinary flair. 👌🏻😋😁

Judging for the potjie competition will take place in the courtyard at around 3pm, with portions available for purchase by all attendees. 🥘🤩

What an incredible day on the golf course as Favrit Home Centre hosted a fantastic golf day for their valued suppliers and customers on Friday, 28 August 2026! 👌🏻🤩

The event brought together a field of 50 enthusiastic players that were invited to join in, creating an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere from the very first tee-off. With 12 sponsored holes, exciting golfing moments, plenty of friendly competition, and great company throughout the day, it was a wonderful celebration both on and off the course. 🏌‍♂️⛳️
