๐๐๐๐ & ๐๐๐
As we celebrate 10 years of The Ballet Conservatory, weโre taking a walk down memory lane.
Over the coming weeks, weโll be sharing our Then & Now series, featuring some of the dancers who have been such an integral part of our ballet familyโs journey. From tiny tutus and first ballet shoes to confident, graceful young dancers, each story is a beautiful reminder of just how far theyโve come.
Alongside their childhood photos and where they are today, our dancers have also shared heartfelt reflections on what ballet and The Ballet Conservatory have meant to them over the years.
Every dancer has a story.
Every journey is unique.
Every step has helped shape who we are today.
๐ Keep your eyes on our page as we take you on this special journey through the past. We canโt wait to share these beautiful stories and treasured memories with you - one dancer at a time.

Our Collegiate High School Dance Studies pupils had the incredible honour of meeting Veronica Paeper, the renowned South African choreographer whose work forms part of their prescribed syllabus. Having the opportunity to watch her choreography performed live and then meet her in person brought their studies to life in a meaningful and memorable way. ๐๐ฉฐ

๐Dance Tour 2026 - Cape Town Adventure! ๐
What a wonderful weekend exploring the Mother City! Our dancers enjoyed a visit to the vibrant V&A Waterfront, with a delicious breakfast at Vovo Telo.
The highlight of the afternoon was attending Orpheus in the Underworld by Cape Town City Ballet, a spectacular performance that inspired and delighted our young dancers.
After dinner at Tigerโs Milk, we ended the evening with LAMTAโs production of Killer Queen - an energetic celebration of the music of Queen, featuring many of their greatest hits.
A fun-filled weekend of dance, theatre, music, friendship and creating special memories together! ๐๐ฉฐ๐ญ๐ถ
