“Slow it down.”
“Hold the ball cross seam.”
These are common phrases many coaches use—and while they can offer quick fixes, they often only provide temporary solutions. In most cases, players don’t fully understand where these adjustments come from or why they matter.
The Fast Bowling Performance Camp is designed to go deeper. We focus on helping players understand:
• Why something happens
• How it happens
• How to correct it
• When to apply the correction
This approach builds not just skill, but true game awareness and long-term performance.

The camp will definitely take place the following weekend, and the promise I made still stands; none of the bowlers on the day will go home the same.
We will have a number of things that will help bowlers understand ther bowling actions, bowling styles, what fast bowling is about etc. One of the most important things is the injury prevention side of things.

The fast Bowling performance camp explained : Over the years, I have worked with a lot of young bowlers, both girls and boys. I have also observed a lot of players in these years, and I have picked up that some if not a greater number of them would benefit from a session where they are not told or coached what to do, but are given the WHAT to do, WHY, HOW and WHEN. In my coaching years, I have picked up that players generally learn better and faster when they understand what is happening and not when they do as they are told.
I would be lying if I said the players will bowl better just after the camp, but I can guarentee you that there will be signs at some point because they will leave the camp with a lot of understanding as they why they bowl a certain way, why they bowl no balls, how to fix them, why they bowl wides, how to fix them, why they feel pain, how to fix it and many other aspects of their bowling such as how to warm, how to improve their run up etc etc. This also includes the understanding of what fast bowling is and the basic concepts of the biomechanics of fast bowling. It's not big English, do not worry.
I could write an entire book here, but where is the fun in that ? :)
