Today, we honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela by turning 67 minutes of service into meaningful impact. As part of our Mandela Day 67 Minutes Initiative, Mantishe Construction proudly sponsored the services of our grader to assist with the preparation of the Kwa Lunda Farming Project, a community garden initiative led by the Mark Headbush Foundation in Motherwell NU 6, Gqeberha.
This inspiring project is driven by the dedication of five remarkable grannies who transformed an abandoned dumpsite into a vegetable garden, creating opportunities for sustainable food production and nutritious vegetables. It is also a symbol of hope, resilience, and community pride.
At Mantishe Construction, we believe lasting change is created through collaboration between communities, businesses, and individuals. We are honoured to have played a role in supporting a project that is planting more than vegetables. It is nurturing hope, dignity, and a better future.
This Mandela Day, let us remember that every act of service, no matter how big or small, has the power to create lasting change.

A key takeaway was definitely success is not always linear. The journey is shaped by resilience, adaptability, and integrity. It was inspiring to see young professionals actively engaging, building their own businesses, and seeking guidance to grow.
Despite challenges such as youth unemployment in South Africa, the future remains bright with driven and determined minds. We commend Zungu Investments for creating a platform that encourages the youth to dream bigger, push limits, and stay disciplined.
