The Range Project // Entry 02
Things are getting serious beneath the surface.

Right now: trenches, steel and a whole lot of sand.
Soon: a whole new way to practise.

The foundations are going in, and next week, we start pouring concrete.
It might take a little imagination to see it now, but trust us, it’ll be worth the wait.

It was a busy day on the course as we welcomed Plettenberg Bay Country Club, Simola Country Club, and Pezula Golf Club for SCGU Handicaps League.

The May storms may have taken our original stone bridge on Hole 2, but they also gave us the chance to build something new.

With the original crossing no longer an option, the team has found a new spot further down the river and work on the new arch bridge is well underway.

Here’s a look at some of the work so far, from the shuttering and concrete pour to stripping it back and revealing the new wing walls.

The bridge isn’t ready for traffic just yet, but there’s been some serious progress.

The penultimate leg of our Derby Day series saw 81 players take on the course in an Alliance Waltz format. With just one leg to go, the race for the overall title is heating up.
