The Southern African Endurance Series returns to Gqeberha on 2–3 October for Rounds 4 and 5 of the 2026 season, with two days of racing and valuable championship points up for grabs.

Stuart White is a two-time Southern African Endurance Series Champion, securing back-to-back SAES titles in 2024 and 2025, and one of South Africa’s leading endurance and GT racing drivers.

White began in karting, winning multiple South African championships, finishing runner-up at the ROK Cup International Final and representing South Africa in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. In 2018, he won the South African Formula 1600 Championship with nine victories.

His performances took him to the French Formula 4 Championship, and in 2019 he was selected for the Sauber Formula 1 Junior Driver Programme.

White later moved into GT and endurance racing, competing with teams including CMR, Emil Frey Racing, AF Corse and Into Africa Racing by Dragon. In 2022, he was selected for the Lamborghini Squadra Corse Young Driver Programme.

That season, he finished third in the GT World Challenge Europe Silver Cup Championship, took a podium at the 24 Hours of Spa and won the Hockenheim 3-Hour endurance race.

Back home, White became one of SAES’s benchmark drivers. He won the Nine Hours of Kyalami on his way to the 2024 SAES Championship before successfully defending his title in 2025.

He has continued racing internationally, recently taking an overall podium with Into Africa Racing by Dragon at the Abu Dhabi 6 Hour, followed by a Pro-Am podium at Misano in the opening round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship.

From Sauber junior driver to international GT3 racer and two-time SAES Champion, Stuart White continues to represent South African motorsport on the international stage while remaining one of the leading names in Southern African endurance racing.

Charl Visser, Barend Pretorius and Weylin Volschenk became the youngest driver combination in SAES history when they lined up together in the Nova for Rico Barlow Racing, and ended up taking the win in the endurance race 🤯
