South Africans once again delivered strong results on the international endurance racing stage this past weekend 🇿🇦

At Mugello, Nick Adcock scored second place in class in the European Endurance Prototype Cup alongside co-driver Michael Jenssen. Racing against a field of 36 identical Nova Proto NP02s, the pair managed demanding tyre degradation and intense 34°C heat to bring home another podium result 🙌🏼

On the other side of the globe in Brazil, Sheldon van der Linde and his BMW M Team WRT teammates finished sixth in the Hypercar class at the FIA WEC 6 Hours of São Paulo in the No. 20 BMW M Hybrid V8 🔥

Congratulations to Nick and Sheldon for continuing to represent South African motorsport on the international stage 👏

Before anyone lines up on the grid, there's plenty of work to do. Practice gives teams the chance to fine-tune their cars, while qualifying sets the grid for Saturday's six-hour endurance race.

It's also one of the best times to soak up the atmosphere, explore the paddock, and watch the teams preparing for the weekend ahead.

Every rider starts somewhere, and for many, the MRSSA categories are where that journey properly begins.

Competing as part of the SAES race weekends, Amohelang Phiri is continuing to build his experience within South Africa’s motorcycle racing scene while developing his racecraft against experienced riders on some of the country’s best circuits 🏍️

The MRSSA categories have become an important space for both new and established riders, bringing together different bikes, different backgrounds, and a shared passion for racing. With growing grids and strong paddock camaraderie, riders like Amohelang are part of what keeps local motorcycle racing moving forward.

South African endurance racer David Perel was back in action this weekend in the European Le Mans Series, bringing it home in ninth in LMGT3 🇿🇦🏁

While the final result didn't reflect the pace, Perel said the team was left on the wrong side of several Virtual Safety Car periods that interrupted their strategy.

Sometimes endurance racing is won on pace. Sometimes it's decided by timing.

Either way, it's always great to see another South African competing on one of endurance racing's biggest stages 🙌🏼

Every champion starts somewhere 🙌🏼🏁

This weekend, the African Open Karting Championship brought together some of Africa's brightest young talent, reminding us where so many racing journeys begin.

We were proud to be there to support the next generation of motorsport and celebrate the young drivers who are laying the foundations for what could become incredible careers 🙂‍↕️

You never know... one of these karters could be lining up on an SAES grid in the years to come 😉 🏁

David Perel heads to the legendary Imola circuit for Round 3 of the European Le Mans Series, where he'll compete in the LMGT3 category with Spirit of Race.

Currently sitting 3rd in the LMGT3 championship, David and his team in the #55 car will be looking to strengthen their title challenge at one of motorsport’s most iconic venues 🙌🏼
