We're taking our annual one-week break! 💙🌊

Starfish Swim School will be closed from Monday 29 June to Sunday 5 July, reopening on Monday 6 July.

This week gives us a chance to tackle some much-needed maintenance around the swim school, including repairs to our pool room roof, so we can keep everything looking and working at its best for all our swimmers.

Even while still learning to swim, our adults are already building stroke skills.
We introduce dolphin kick as part of the learn-to-swim process, and they’re now starting the first butterfly movements, practising a single arm stroke from a standing position and getting the feel for the rhythm 💦

What an incredible gala weekend! 💙🏊‍♀️

Our Starfish swimmers truly showed up and gave it their all. We are so proud of every single one of you. From first-time racers to our more experienced swimmers, the effort, courage, and smiles said it all!

We are especially proud of each swimmer simply for getting in and participating. That is where confidence grows and champions are made 💫

And as always, you can spot a Starfish swimmer in the pool by their beautiful strokes and technique. This is something we take such pride in!

A very special thank you to Teacher Delise for her dedication and passion, for always showing up for our swimmers, and for the incredible job she does in organising and supporting our Starfish swimmers at these galas. We appreciate you so much 💙

Adult Swimming Lessons 💦

Starfish Swim School offers adult swimming lessons for even the most nervous beginners in a warm, friendly and supportive environment.

Our small groups (maximum of 4 per class) ensure plenty of individual attention, and the teacher is always in the pool with you to help you feel safe and confident every step of the way.

Our indoor heated pool is kept between 32–34°C, so you can swim comfortably, even on the coldest winter days.

Fees:
• R430 registration (includes a swimming cap)
• R790 per month – 1 lesson per week
• R1,250 per month – 2 lessons per week

New adult group starting:
📅 Monday 30th March at 5:30pm

We also offer:
• Morning slots (Tuesday & Thursday between 8–10am)
• Additional times available on our schedule
