🎣🏆 OUR 6 BEST – LBT 2026

Eight rounds. Eight different challenges. But when the final standings were calculated, it was our best 6 finishes that counted.

Our six counting results:

🥈 2nd – Inyaka | 6.70kg | 99 pts
🥈 2nd – Vygeboom | 4.11kg | 99 pts
🥉 3rd – Maguga | 5.54kg | 98 pts
4th – Vygeboom | 3.43kg | 97 pts
4th – Driekoppies | 7.20kg | 97 pts
13th – Rhenosterkop | 6.63kg | 88 pts

That gave Team Bass Hunter 578 points and ultimately secured us 4th overall in the 2026 Lowveld Bass Trail season. 💪

Looking back, we’re especially proud of the consistency — five of our six counting results were Top 4 finishes, including three podiums. 🎯

Every dam taught us something, every tough day made us better, and every good result made all the preparation worthwhile.

🏆🎣 2026 LOWVELD BASS TRAIL – 4TH OVERALL!

And that’s a wrap on our 2026 Lowveld Bass Trail season!

After 8 legs across the season, with our best 6 results counting towards the final standings, Team Bass Hunter finishes 4th overall with 578 points! 💪

Looking back at the season, we’re incredibly proud of what we managed to achieve. We had some fantastic results, some very tough days, a few podium finishes and plenty of lessons along the way. Through all of it, we kept competing, learning and enjoying the sport we love.

To finish 4th out of 29 teams on the final season standings, just 14 points behind the overall winners, is something we’re extremely grateful for. 🎣🏆

A massive congratulations to LAC Nelspruit on taking the 2026 Lowveld Bass Trail title with 592 points, as well as Bass Bling and Bass World Venom on rounding out the Top 3. 👏

Most importantly, we’re grateful to be able to compete, spend time on the water and be part of such a great bass fishing community.

And just like that, our 2026 LBT qualifying season is complete!

Driekoppies gave us everything — overcast skies, wind, rain and tough changing conditions — but we managed to put together a solid 5-fish bag of 7.20kg, with our biggest weighing 1.93kg.

That was enough to secure 4th place out of 27 teams, narrowly missing the podium but ending the season on a result we’re extremely proud of. 💪🎣

The result helped us secure our 4th place overall finish for the 2026 Lowveld Bass Trail season with 578 points, after our best 6 results from the 8 events were counted. 🏆

What a season it has been. There have been podiums, tough days, lessons learned and plenty of unforgettable moments on the water. To finish 4th overall among such a competitive field means a lot to us.

🎣 Lowveld Largemouth Series | Driekoppies

With Leg 8 of the Lowveld Bass Trail coming up at Driekoppies, we took the opportunity to fish the Lowveld Largemouth Series (LLS) competition as a pre-fish and to get some valuable time on the water.

It turned out to be a very tough day on Driekoppies, with getting five fish in the boat proving to be a real challenge. Despite the difficult conditions, we managed to put together a 5-fish bag of 3.110kg, finishing 10th out of 29 teams. 🎣💪

We’re happy with the Top 10 finish, but more importantly, it was great to fish a different league, experience a different format and get some valuable insight into Driekoppies ahead of the final LBT qualifying leg.

A massive thank you to the Lowveld Largemouth Series organisers for hosting us and putting together a great event. We really enjoyed the experience and appreciate the opportunity to compete alongside a different group of anglers.

Now it’s time to take what we learned and put it to the test when Leg 8 of the LBT comes around! 🔥🎣
