Fei-Fei Li

🧠 Who She Is.

Fei-Fei Li is a computer scientist at Stanford University and co-director of Stanford's Human-Centered AI Institute. She's often called the "godmother of AI."

💡 What She Built.

She created ImageNet, a massive labeled image database that became the training ground for modern computer vision — the technology that lets AI recognise objects in photos. It's one of the reasons deep learning took off the way it did.

🤔 Did You Know?

Before ImageNet, AI struggled badly at recognising images. Fei-Fei's dataset gave researchers something to train and test on at a scale nobody had tried before.
