Today was a special day as the SWD EaGirls hosted the Limpopo Blue Bulls in the final round of the Pick n Pay Super League 2 Group Stages!

Titans Rugby Academy was well represented on both sides of the pitch. Our Director of Rugby, Coach Ash, along with a few of our Titans Juniors, were out in full force to support our athletes.

💬 "It’s always great to catch up, especially with players representing other provinces, and to see our athletes reconnect," said Coach Ash. "Both Nadia Aziz and Zandile Masuku had fantastic seasons with the Limpopo Blue Bulls. Likewise, our local players have been brilliant—Prelene Pegram captained the EaGirls, alongside Ekleshia Leo, Tania Fatyela, and Amey Harker throughout the season. We are extremely proud of every one of them for representing us with pride!"

The Titans Rugby Academy is excited to be part of a brand-new initiative on the girls’ rugby calendar — the YTC Womens Rugby-Swd Academy Festivals! 💪🏉

On 22 August 2026, Titans Rugby Academy will face the new kids on the block, Barbarians Rugby Development, with both our U16 & U18 Girls taking the field in Knysna.

The first festival will be hosted in the Knysna Region, with visiting academies Tigers Rugby Academy, Wing Wave Academy and Oudtshoorn, joining three Knysna-based academies — Knysna Initiative for Learning and Teaching - KILT, Barbarians Rugby Development and Titans Rugby Academy.

For Titans Rugby Academy, this is more than just another festival. Titans has been at the forefront of women’s rugby development in Knysna for more than two decades, and we are proud to see new academies and opportunities emerging for the next generation of girls.
