MEN’S CAMP | MAGALIES RETREAT RESORT

This weekend was about more than just getting away it was about connection, reflection and growth.

Our students came together at Magalies Retreat Resort for a weekend filled with team-building activities, hiking and conversations that went beyond the surface.

They shared their stories, spoke about the challenges they have faced, the battles they have overcome, and the ones they are still preparing to face. Through every conversation and activity, they found an opportunity to learn from one another, encourage each other and build stronger bonds.

Sometimes growth happens outside the classroom in the conversations we have, the stories we share, and the people who remind us that we are not alone in our journey.

A weekend of brotherhood, resilience and becoming better men. 🤝🏾

Students from all campuses of came and represented their campuses at the COSACSA College Elimination Ball Games 2026 at Alabama Stadium, where our students played with passion, discipline and determination across football, netball, volleyball, basketball, rugby and table tennis.

Congratulations to every student and teams that represented the college with excellence and those selected to represent the College at a Provincial level.

Vuselela TVET College Jouberton Campus hosted the GANA KA WENA Women’s Conference on 28 August 2026 under the theme “Shade of Brown.

The conference brought together female students and women staff in a space dedicated to empowerment, self-worth, protection and sisterhood.

The event was enriched by inspiring speakers, including Sr Shenaaz Banoo, Andiswa Ndamase (Registered Counsellor), and Baraedi Molefe (Social Worker), who shared meaningful messages encouraging women to value themselves, protect their well-being and support one another.

The conference reminded women to embrace their identity, recognise their worth and stand strong together.

Klerksdorp Campus hosted a meaningful Women’s Conference centred on empowerment, support and celebrating the strength of women. We were honoured to welcome inspiring guest speakers, representatives from Higher Health, and students from Matlosana who joined us for this important occasion.

The day created a safe and powerful space for women to share, reflect and connect through stories and messages that touched the heart.

GANA KA WENA — Together We Rise, Together We Lead.

On 26 August 2026, Vuselela TVET College Klerksdorp Campus held a prayer session for NC(V) students as they prepared for their internal examinations, which commence on 31 August 2026.

The session provided students with encouragement, motivation and spiritual support. They were encouraged to remain focused, work hard and approach their examinations with confidence.

We wish all NC(V) students the very best as they prepare for their examinations. May their dedication and hard work lead to success.

Potchefstroom Campus hosted a powerful GANA KA WENA Women’s Conference, bringing women students and lecturers together for a day of inspiration, motivation and empowerment.

The speakers shared inspiring messages, encouraging women to put themselves and their education first, believe in themselves, and know what they want in life.

The conference was also filled with fun and interactive activities, including balloon activities and questions that gave participants a chance to engage, share their thoughts and win exciting gifts.

A special thank you to our partners, Towel of Hope, Sportisics and BokaCares, for supporting the event and helping make the day a success.

It was a beautiful day of learning, encouragement, laughter and sisterhood, reminding every woman to believe in herself and her journey.
