🦁 **CONCEPT KIT — JOHANNESBURG IN EVERY THREAD**

What does Johannesburg look like when you put it on a rugby jersey?

For the latest Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry concept jersey, we imagined a Lions kit that goes beyond the traditional red — turning the jersey into a visual representation of the city the Lions call home.

The lion. The Joburg skyline. The streets. The architecture. The raw energy of the city.

We pulled those elements apart, layered them together and rebuilt them into a bold street-art inspired design — combining the Lions iconic red with black and white artwork, distressed textures and urban graphics.

From a distance — Lions red.

Up close — Johannesburg is everywhere.

Every detail is designed to capture the character of the city — its movement, its grit, its creativity and the people who give it life.

It is not an official Lions jersey, not for sale, and was created purely as a creative exploration of what a Johannesburg-inspired Lions kit could look like.

🇿🇦 SPRINGBOKS vs ALL BLACKS — ONCE-OFF CONCEPT KIT

For a rivalry this big, the design had to feel instantly familiar… but still make a statement.

Tc Pretorius built this concept around the identity of both nations — the deep green and gold of South Africa, the Springbok, protea and African patterning, contrasted against the black, silver fern and visual heritage of New Zealand.

The goal was simple: keep both sides authentic, recognisable and respectful to the rivalry, while pushing the design far enough to feel special for a once-off occasion.

Two nations.
Two identities.
One of rugby’s greatest rivalries.

What does Pretoria look like at full speed?

For Tc Pretorius 's latest Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry concept, he imagined a once-off Bulls jersey created specifically for one massive occasion — Bulls vs All Blacks.

The bull. The horns. The Blue Bulls daisy. Jacarandas. Loftus. Pretoria.

He pulled those elements apart, layered them together and added a modern glitch treatment to create something with movement, energy and unmistakable Bulls character.

From a distance — powerful and bold.
Up close — Pretoria is everywhere.

Our Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Tour continues with the Hollywoodbets Sharks vs All Blacks.

There’s a new chapter unfolding in Durban. A new look. A new direction.

Change is inevitable.

But to know where you’re going, you need to remember where you came from.

So for this concept, we went back to the roots — Durban, the skyline, the Indian Ocean, Kings Park and the Shark Tank.

A jersey inspired by the city, the territory and the identity that shaped the Sharks.

Because when the All Blacks arrive in Durban…

They’re entering Shark territory. 🦈

This is not an official Sharks jersey and is not for sale. It is purely a Vision Sports concept of what we might have created.

We challenged our Head Graphic Designer, Tc Pretorius , to imagine what a Stormers concept kit could look like for one of rugby’s biggest rivalries — and he went deeper than just colour and pattern.

Table Mountain.
The Cape Town skyline.
The harbour.
The Atlantic coastline.
All built into the iconic blue and white hoops.

This concept is about pride, identity and home-ground energy.

Not just a jersey.
A statement.
A warning.
