Jordan has started a new interest in springbok and is already chipping away at completing his Springbok Slam.

One more piece of the puzzle added to the collection, and another memorable chapter in his African safari.

The Springbok Slam includes the common, black, white and copper colour phases

Bob & Marie had the rare opportunity to take this old Bushpig during daylight hours while hunting other plains game.

Bushpigs are primarily nocturnal and are rarely seen during the day in the Eastern Cape, making this a truly special opportunity.

Africa is full of surprises, and when an opportunity presents itself, you take it!

Well done, Bob & Juan Janse van Vuuren 🇿🇦🐗

Gemsbok was on Bob & Marie’s list from day one — and they got it done.

Hunting with PH Juan Janse van Vuuren, we found this old cow carrying excellent horn length. Her teeth were well worn and age was clearly catching up with her, but she still had what it takes to make a great African trophy.

Another hard-earned animal. Another great safari.

Skip was interested in hunting the animal featured on our logo—the Mountain Reedbuck.

We spotted a few right off the bat early that morning, but none had the size we were looking for. Once it warmed up a little, this old ram finally showed himself, and Skip made a good shot on the old timer.

Congratulations, Skip! 🏔️

Jordan bagged a great Red Lechwe soon after Skip. We looked over several bulls before deciding this was the one.

This bull had a little more bend in the horns, which should add some extra length to the measurement.

The bulls were rutting hard, and with the excellent rain we’ve received this season, we’re expecting excellent conception across the species we hunt.

Congratulations, Jordan! Another great bull for the books. 🦌

Bob and Marie continued their quest for an old kudu bull with PH Juan Janse van Vuuren After looking over a few bulls, they found the old bull they were looking for halfway through their hunt.

Congratulations to everyone involved!

Skip bagged a beautiful old Red Lechwe bull.

Look at how worn those horns are on this old warrior. The bulls were going hard in the rut, chasing females non-stop, and you could see it in their body condition.

Congratulations, Skip, on a great old bull! 🇿🇦

From the high mountain slopes to the skinning shed, this magnificent old Blesbuck ram tells a story of patience, skill, and responsible hunting.

A heartfelt congratulations to Bob and Marie on an unforgettable hunt with PH Juan Janse van Vuuren ! We’re proud to celebrate the harvest of a truly mature animal and grateful to everyone who made this special experience possible. Seeing old animals like this come through the skinning shed is a powerful reminder of the value of age-based, selective hunting and sustainable wildlife management.

Well done, Bob and Marie — what an incredible achievement! 👏
