We spend our childhood thinking our parents have all the answers.

Then we grow older and realise they were learning too.

They had their own fears, disappointments, struggles and dreams, yet they still showed up and carried us through ours.

The older I get, the more I realise they didn’t have to be perfect to give us everything they had.

May Allah forgive their shortcomings, reward their sacrifices, and grant us the wisdom to appreciate them while we still can

Some seasons of life make you question everything.

You pray for the door to open.
You beg Allah for the hardship to end.
You wonder why you’re still here.

But sometimes, the place you’re desperate to leave is the place Allah is using to prepare you.

The patience you’re learning.
The strength you’re building.
The faith you’re developing.

One day, you may look back and realise:

Allah wasn’t delaying you. He was preparing you.

Keep trusting Him, even when you cannot yet see what He is preparing you for.

We’re all carrying something people know nothing about.

Some people hide their pain behind silence.
Others hide it behind a smile.

So be gentle.
Speak kindly.
Give people grace.

You never know how much strength it took for someone to show up today with a smile on their face.

And sometimes, that smile you see isn’t happiness, it’s sabr.

Real character is revealed when there is nothing to gain.

Be kind when nobody is watching.
Give without expecting.
Help without needing recognition.
Treat people well even when they cannot do anything for you.

Because one day, everything we achieved will be forgotten.

But the way we made people feel may be what they remember.

Be good. For the sake of Allah.
