We fought until the very end and bowed out in the semi-finals after a penalty shootout against Zico Boys. Congratulations to Zico Boys on a fantastic tournament, and to ireland_boys_5s on becoming the champions of Africa’s biggest 5-a-side tournament. 👏🏆

To Old Mutual 5quad League , Old Mutual South Africa , and Reboost_Energy thank you for creating a stage where dreams are built, communities unite, and African football continues to grow. This tournament is bigger than prize money; it’s changing lives and inspiring the next generation.

And to our Government Tiki family…

We didn’t bring the trophy home, but because of you, we never stopped believing. Your love will stay with us long after the final whistle.

What a journey it’s been for Government Tiki.
We packed our bags and travelled to Bloemfontein for the qualifiers. New environment, new challenge, new pressure. We fought all the way to the semi-finals, only to get knocked out on penalties. Tough, painful… but the growth was real. The chemistry sharpened. The hunger doubled.

Then came Pretoria.
No penalties. No delays. No debates.
We won every single match like a government passing a bill with zero resistance. 🗳️🔥
Qualified. Stamped. Delivered.

Now the big one is here.
This weekend, 6–7 December, the R500,000 main event at Headfield Urban Sports.
