Welcome to our brand new volunteers today Matthew and Liam. Matthew and Liam were barcode scanners today and were volunteering as part of their community service hours for school.

Rietvlei parkrun is looking for volunteers! 🙌🙏💚

We are short of barcode scanners for our upcoming parkruns including 27 June 2026.

Training is given and all you need is a charged cell phone and the Virtual Volunteer app on your phone. The app only uses a tiny bit of airtime to upload the scanning file when you are finished. You can run first and scan later if you finish under about 35 minutes.
