After claims that, “But it wasn’t me, Col,” and after asking Colin Nathan whether he could have a piece of liquorice, the beef was finally squashed yesterday morning at 1 a.m. outside the Kenneway Hotel in East London, South Africa.

Colin Nathan was naturally in a good (oke) mood after seeing his NO DOUBT Management fighter, Katlego “Blacc_Kat” Khanyisa, win the South African title in emphatic style. He decided to cut out all the drama surrounding Jones’s alleged theft of his liquorice, and he gave Jones a full packet as a gift for him to eat.

Needless to say, Jones finished the liquorice and never even offered Nathan a piece.

Busisiwe Eunice Makhubo was a proud mom on Saturday night in East London, ringside as her son Katlego "Blacc_Kat" Khanyisa became the new South African super-featherweight champion—defeating defending champion Asanda Gingqi with a 10th-round TKO.

Congratulations to her and the rest of the family.

What an unbelievable upset!

Katlego “Blacc_Kat” Khanyisa, against all odds, stopped highly favored defending champion Asanda Gingqi last night in 10 pulsating rounds to win the South African super-featherweight championship in East London, South Africa.

The IBF Continental Africa champion and now the new South African champion improves his record to 12–0, with 5 KOs.

Congratulations to young trainer Lucky Mokwena, who produced his first South African champion.

On April 9, 2009, Colin Nathan produced his first two International Boxing Organisation champions. He won the IBO Africa junior-flyweight title with Hekkie “The Hexecutioner” Budler, who would go on to become one of the greatest fighters on the African continent. The other was winning the IBO super-featherweight world title with the late and talented Zolani “Untouchable” Marali.

Since then, Nathan has produced many more IBO African, International, Intercontinental, and world champions.

His latest IBO world champion, Bernice “The Badger” Ferreira, recently retained her super-featherweight title and captured the WBC world title, becoming the first female African fighter to become a unified world champion.

The IBO President, Ed Levine, presented Colin with a replica world title belt in honour of producing history for female African boxing.

“I am so grateful for this amazing gift, and I want to thank the IBO President, Ed Levine. I am truly honored—having started my journey as a world world champion trainer and manager with the IBO,” said Nathan.
