67 Minutes for your Community: Make Mandela Day a parkrun Volunteer Day! 🇿🇦✨

This year, Mandela Day falls on a parkrun Saturday (18 July), giving us the perfect opportunity to honor Tata Madiba’s legacy right in our own backyard.

Nelson Mandela gave 67 years of his life fighting for human rights. This Mandela Day, we are asking the parkrun community to give 67 minutes back by stepping up to volunteer! 🧡

Whether you are scanning barcodes, marshaling out on the course, or tail walking, your time directly helps keep our event free, safe, and fun for everyone.

How to get involved:
1. Check out the volunteer roster at your local event.
2. Choose a role that suits you (no experience needed!).
3. email your event to secure your spot.

Let’s make this Mandela Day one to remember by coming together and making a difference. See you on Saturday! 🙌
