This is a hosted SCUBA.co.za trip with Kevin Cook, staying at the new and exclusive Big Blue Dive Lodge in Sodwana Bay, and diving with the Big Blue team.

For the first time, we are making Sodwana easier than ever for divers from around South Africa to join us. Fly into King Shaka International Airport in Durban, meet the group, and jump onto our arranged airport shuttle to Sodwana Bay.

No long drive from Joburg.
No car hire.
No stress.
Just fly in, dive, relax and enjoy the ocean. 🌊

🚐 Fly-In Shuttle Option
• Meet at King Shaka Airport at 10am on Friday
• Travel to Sodwana in an executive tour bus
• Arrive around 2pm
• Return shuttle leaves Sodwana at 9am on Monday
• Back at King Shaka around 1:30pm

Return airport transfer: R2,500 per person

Divers need to bring their own soft gear: wetsuit, fins, mask and snorkel.

🏖️ What To Expect

The new exclusive Big Blue Dive Lodge is situated just off the main road in Sodwana Bay, so local shops, restaurants and amenities are all within easy walking distance.

The weekend includes hosted group meals, beach transfers, reef diving, a shaded beach setup for kitting up and relaxing between dives, and a relaxed SCUBA.co.za group atmosphere.

This is a special friendship tour for SCUBA.co.za and a chance to enjoy Sodwana with friends old and new.

📅 Weekend Flow

Friday: Fly or drive in, check in, welcome drinks, bonfire and African Zulu braai.
Saturday & Sunday: Morning reef dives, beach breakfast, afternoon at leisure and group dinner.
Monday: Breakfast, check-out and return shuttle to King Shaka.

⚠️ If you are flying home on Monday evening, we recommend doing your final dives on Sunday and not diving on Monday morning, in line with standard flying-after-diving guidance.
