The wait is over – the Old Eds Road Race with Discovery Vitality returns on 9 August 2026, and entries are officially open! 🎉
Whether you're chasing a PB, tackling your first race, or simply looking for a great morning out with the running community, we've got a distance for you:
✔️ 21.1km Half Marathon
✔️ 10km Road Race
✔️ 5km Fun Run
This year, we're calling on every participant to help us make this Joburg's cleanest road race. Join the movement and help us keep our streets and race route litter-free.
The 5km Fun Run will once again be run in honour of Matthew Ernstzen and supported by The Compassionate Friends, making it a meaningful event for runners and families alike.
With a brand-new edition of one of Johannesburg's favourite races, incredible community spirit, Discovery Vitality points up for grabs, and a fantastic race-day atmosphere, this is one you won't want to miss.
