It comes down to something surprisingly simple: density.

Oil is lighter than water, so given the right conditions, it naturally rises to the surface.

Our separators use inclined corrugated plates to speed this process up; droplets only have a short distance to travel before joining together and rising as a recoverable film, while clean water passes through below.

Our Dubai team recently carried out a full containment boom deployment exercise, sharpening response times and coordination for real marine spill scenarios.

Following a vessel incident in the harbour caused by a load shift, the Drizit Environmental team was deployed to contain the spill using a containment boom before carrying out the cleanup operation.
