You know the feeling. The road tilts upward and something clicks.

While others reach for the easier gear, you find another gear inside yourself. You're not the fastest on the flat — but the moment it goes uphill, that's your moment. That's where you come alive.

The BMC Teammachine SLR01 was built for exactly that rider.

Whether you're grinding up Ou Kaapse Weg on a Sunday morning, tackling the climbs at Amashova, or just refusing to get dropped on the club ride when the road kicks up — this is the bike that rewards every watt you put into a climb.

Sub-800g frame. Five generations of Swiss climbing DNA. A bike that doesn't just carry you uphill — it makes you faster when it matters most.

When the road goes up, so do you.

🇫🇷

With the Tour de France in full swing, we're taking it back to 2011 — the year Cadel Evans made history.

Riding for BMC Racing Team, Evans became the first Australian to win the Tour de France — battling through 21 stages, clawing back 57 seconds on Andy Schleck in the penultimate time trial to take the yellow jersey at age 34. One of the greatest rides in Tour history.

Throughout those mountain and road stages, his weapon of choice was the BMC Teammachine SLR01 — the lightweight climbing machine that carried him over the Alps. The same lineage refined, evolved and perfected over five generations into the Teammachine SLR01 you can ride today.

Five generations of Swiss engineering. The same relentless pursuit of lightness, stiffness, and climbing performance. When the road goes up, so do you.
