Elite Ballet

Oh what big eyes you have.. all the better it is to see you with my precious Little Red Riding Hood'. Two of our dear, Pre-Primary in Dance, Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), budding ballerinas. What a joy and a privilege it is to have all our boys and girls from the age of three, attend class at Elite Ballet.

Today we send best wishes to two of our senior Elite students, Maya Weir and Eduan Kruger, who are flying to New York. They will attend the, American Academy of Ballet Summer School of Excellence for the next two weeks. (AAB)

Maya was the recipient of a full bursary at the AAB Performance Awards Competition in November 2025, and Eduan a partial bursary. Thank you American Academy of Ballet for investing in our Elite Ballet dancers.

Wishing these four Elite Ballet students an absolutely exhilarating weekend of dance in Cape Town. Such an exciting opportunity for our dancers to be involved in this fantastic calloboration with Cape Junior Ballet. Thank you Joburg Ballet Academy for this amazing opportunity. Maya, Emily, Eduan and Chloe we are so proud of you.

The future is shaped by the curious, bold, and driven. Happy Youth Day to all, may your vision expand and your efforts yield great results. Participating in the Junior Joburg Ballet's Oliver and the Debut Dancer Award was a fantastic opportunity for young dancers like Carleigh, Mpumi, Olerato, Chloe, and Schuyler, who should be proud of their dedication and hard work.

Congratulations to our two finalists of the Debut Dancer Bursary, Shane and Matthew, who performed beautifully this past weeked. Mathew Jaansen Van Vuuren was named the runner-up by the esteemed panel of judges.

From the five young dancers who danced in the Junior Ballet's production of Oliver, the finalists, and our Joburg Academy dancers, you all made us proud.
