Today was truly a remarkable day for many reasons. We had an incredible start to the League as LCA Teams participation 🥳and successful 2 rounds of games as per the schedule🎯. The day also was the start of Tournament gameplay for many of our students which by far is a critical milestone that you will only appreciate when you look back after some months or years 🏃‍♀️

The day also provided us as Lonehill Chess Academy to present the milestone on our KHANYA PROGRAM (www.lachess.co.za/khanya) we conduct at Diepsloot Township with 3 of our students taking to the Chess Tournament circuit formally at today's league session.

As an Academy in its formative stage we are extremely proud of and thankful to our patrons 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧in you as parents and learners who have lent their continued support to your kids endeavors. We dont hold much concerns or jubilation about the outcome of the games as we are sure our learners shall take invaluable lessons from these avenues for enhancing their performance in future fixtures and see significant transformation of their game level over the next 4months. We had most our participants avail phenomenal LEARNINGS today besides few delightful winning games🏅 in todays league sessions.

The Hockey Lapa at The Wanderers Club is located right next to the hockey astro turf at the main club grounds.
📌 A pin and clear instructions on how to find the playing venue inside Wanderers will be shared on Saturday.

🚗 Please note there is a R20 parking fee per vehicle.

📝 *What to Bring*

JMC will provide all chess equipment and notation pads.

*Players only need to bring a pen.*

🍽️ A restaurant and bar are available at the venue for players, parents and supporters.
