The Open Learning Group team recently joined Transnet CTC’s Employee Wellness Day, where employees from across different roles came together for a day focused on health, connection and personal development.

Between the aerobics, laughter and activities, we had the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with Transnet employees about their careers, where they are now, where they want to go next, and how further education can help them move forward.

For us, this is what workforce development should look like: recognising the whole person. Supporting employee wellbeing while also creating access to learning, career progression and new possibilities. ❤️‍🩹🍃

Open Learning Group was proud to attend the Waterfall City Half Marathon launch, where we met the event team, sponsors and spotlight runners, while connecting with the stakeholders helping to bring this community-building event to life.

As we reflect on the final day of the NZALO Careers Expo, we leave feeling encouraged by the potential, ambition and determination of so many high school learners. 📚🌟
