🤩 A Different Kind of Football Weekend ⚽🔥

With no league fixtures scheduled this weekend, Sunday FC took the opportunity to do something special by hosting our Saturday Football Festival at Forest Hill Primary School. ✅

The day brought together four clubs, five exciting matches, and a wonderful family atmosphere filled with football, learning, and friendships. It was fantastic to see players from different teams testing themselves against new opposition while parents, coaches, and supporters enjoyed a full day of youth football. 🎉

A special thank you to MIDDELBURG UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB for making the trip from Mpumalanga, as well as southern_wolves_fc and Robertsham Callies FC for being part of a memorable day. 🥳💪

At Sunday FC, we believe football is about more than results. It's about creating opportunities for players to develop, building relationships within the football community, and giving families a reason to come together and enjoy the beautiful game. 🌟

🥳 Sunday was a special day at Sunday FC as we hosted Robertsham Callies, Panthers and New South Kids for a full day of friendly games. 🤩🌠

Our U1️⃣0️⃣ , U1️⃣2️⃣ , U1️⃣4️⃣ and U1️⃣6️⃣ teams all got the opportunity to play, giving our players valuable game time, a good learning experience and another chance to grow and develop on the field. 🙌

But the day was about more than just football. It was wonderful to see players, parents, families and friends coming together, supporting the children and enjoying the day. 🔥🎉

The atmosphere was positive, the football was exciting and, most importantly, everyone enjoyed themselves. ✅

A big thank you to Robertsham Callies FC, Panthers and New South Kids for joining us and contributing to a wonderful family day. Thank you as well to all the parents, coaches, players and supporters who made the day special. 🎁🏆

Our league games have been postponed for this week, but there will still be plenty of football at Sunday FC. 🙌

This Sunday, we will host a full day of friendly matches at Forest Hill Primary School, welcoming Robertsham Callies, New South Kids (NSK), NS Malanga and Panthers FC. 🏆

Our U1️⃣0️⃣ , U1️⃣2️⃣ , U1️⃣4️⃣ and U1️⃣6️⃣ teams will all be in action throughout the day. These games are another opportunity for our players to get valuable game time, learn, compete and continue their development. 🤩

Parents, families, friends and supporters are welcome to come through and enjoy a great day of football with us.

🤩 A big thank you to stanford.the.gk for coming through to our session and spending time working with our goalkeepers. 🧤🔥

Goalkeeping is a highly specialised position. It requires people who truly understand the role and know how to coach it properly. ✅

We were fortunate to have Stanford come through, share his knowledge and give our young goalkeepers valuable tips. 🌠

He is one of the best — a very talented player and coach, and someone we are grateful to have learning from. 🥳🙌
