CrossFit’s reputation is that it’s twelve shirtless people throwing barbells around while someone times them while loud music is playing!
And honestly, some gyms are like that.
But when I opened Greenside CrossFit, I made a decision — this was going to be a place where beginners feel safe.
Where it’s okay if you can’t do a pull-up. Where the coaching is real and the ego is low.
Because I’ve always believed that CrossFit is the best training methodology for normal people — but only if the environment is encouraging.
