Kano Institute of Judo

In our Judo family, our Senseis lead by example. Sensei Kyeren brought home a Silver, Sensei Galla, two Golds, one individual win and one as Team Manager, and Sensei Neo from won his first Gold at SAs.

And if you are wondering where the inspiration comes from, Sensei Oscar was awarded Gold as Coach of the JBJ and TUKS Masters.

Congratulations and well fought to our Pre Cadets and Cadets! You have all made us incredibly proud, fighting in tough groups, maintaining discipline, dignity and perseverance. Onwards to Teams!!

Kata means "form") in Japanese. It is a set sequence of Judo moves practised to builds muscle memory, perfect balance, and preserve ancient fighting systems. Kyeren Bartman and Bryce Senekal spend hours practising and perfecting their Kata. Congratulations on the achievement guys!
