Great players need great coaches, and great coaches never stop learning. โšฝ๏ธ

When coaches continue to develop their knowledge and understanding of the game, theyโ€™re better equipped to build playersโ€™ skills, confidence and character โ€” on and off the pitch.

Prepare the player. Prepare them for life.

Congratulations to Coach Jerry Letlaka of PMFC Mamelodi, our September Coach of the Month!

Coach Jerry has been with PMYF since our inception in 2023, starting as a PMSS coach at Northern Academy before relocating to Pretoria in 2024 to lead PMFC Mamelodi.

This month, he was nominated for consistently going above and beyond the call of duty, from assisting with municipality meetings and coordinating service providers to helping maintain the facility and field.

Jerry describes his inspiration for coaching as โ€œbuilding a nation of responsible, disciplined, hardworking individuals through footballโ€, a philosophy reflected in his commitment on and off the pitch. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพโšฝ
