It is with profound sadness and exceptionally heavy hearts that we come together to acknowledge the passing of our deeply cherished and beloved Pastor SD Gumbi. The news has cast a long shadow over our community, leaving a void that feels impossible to fill. Pastor SD Gumbi was so much more than a spiritual leader; he was a steadfast anchor, a beacon of light, and a true shepherd whose unwavering faith, boundless compassion, and truly inspiring leadership touched countless lives within our church family and far beyond our walls. He walked alongside us through joys and sorrows, always offering a comforting word, a guiding hand, and an enduring love for God that radiated from his very being. As 2 Corinthians 5:8 so beautifully reminds us, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." We hold onto this promise, finding solace in the belief that he is now at peace, in the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father.
