Heidelberg Bowling Club held our annual Open Day on 22 August 2026! 💚

With 20 teams taking on the heat and strong competition, it was a wonderful day filled with colour, friendship, laughter, and a bunch of amazing people who all share one love — BOWLS!!! 🥳💚

As a Club, we truly appreciate each and every one of you and are so grateful that you joined us and enjoyed the day with us.

A new set of 6 Markers from Heidelberg completed the course!

Heidelberg Bowling Club makes history with three President’s Invitational Champions | Heidelberg Nigel Heraut Heidelberg Bowling Club has achieved a historic first in EKB bowling, with Johann Strauss, Karl Strauss and Pieter Pieterse simultaneously holding the Junior, Open and Veterans President’s invitational titles.

For the first time in history from what we can tell, an EKB Club has three concurrent Men's President's Invitational Champions!

Two weeks ago, Johann Strauss won the EKB Junior President's, and received an automatic invitation to the Open President's.

On Sunday, his father Karl Strauss was crowned the Open Men President's Champion at the Lake Club Benoni, while Pieter Pieterse took home the Veterans title at Benoni Bowling Club

What an amazing achievement guys, we are all super proud of you!
