This is the Official RUCC page where we post updates, pictures and news about the club. Full membership fee: R1000 a year. Social membership: R300
The club was founded in 2003 and has grown bigger each year with 2017 being one of the most successful years the club has seen. The club trains two-three times a week at Settlers Dam where the canoes are stored in the racks there. Settlers Dam is situated in Thomas Baines Reserve and is a 20 minute drive from Grahamstown. SHORT COURSE RESULTS:
• Jacques the shark & Rory flew across the river and finished 5th overall (4th K2) 😮💨🦈
• Dana & Karla the durry dinghy came 8th overall (6th K2) with no swims ⚠️
• Iona and Kirst pulled in 12th overall - only one swim for these ladies 💦
• Dane and Chris placed 13th overall and also had a clean run for Fish 🧨
