Yesterday, Rhodes University Soccer Club proudly hosted the inaugural RU Sports Women's Faculty Football Tournament as part of our celebration of Women's Month and the incredible contribution of women in sport. ⚽💜

The tournament showcased talent, teamwork, and the unifying power of football, bringing together women from across our faculties in a day filled with passion.

A huge congratulations to the Faculty of Humanities for being crowned the inaugural champions! 🏆👏

Thank you to all the players, supporters, officials, and everyone who made this landmark event a success. Here's to creating more opportunities for women in sport and continuing to inspire the next generation.

It was a tough day at the office for the Rhodes University Women's Rugby Team as they fell to Alicedale United in the EPRU Women's League Final.

While the result wasn't what we hoped for, we couldn't be prouder of the commitment, determination, and heart shown throughout the season. You wore the Rhodes badge with pride, honour, and passion until the final whistle.

Heads held high—this is only the beginning. The future is bright, and we'll come back stronger.

Last night was electric! 🔥 The Ally Weakley Great Field came alive as students turned out in full force for the 2nd Annual Pep Rally, bringing unmatched energy and school spirit ahead of the biggest showdown of the semester.

Every residence hall showed up in numbers, setting the stage for the 2nd and final leg of the RU Sport Inter-Hall Championship taking place next Saturday. 🏆

With pride, bragging rights, and incredible prizes all on the line, everything is still to play for. Who will rise to the occasion? 💪
