Mfuzo Boxing Camp

The student filmmakers at Rhodes University hosted the Absolute Cinema Film Festival, showcasing their powerful documentaries.

One of the highlights was _Fighting Chances_, a documentary by Zesipho Canca, Asiphile Juba, and Siphesihle Dywili.

The film was made in collaboration with Mfuzo Boxing Camp, who were our honoured guests for the evening.

The regional trials for the Cadets and Juniors at T**i Jonas Hall in Port Alfred have concluded, and the following boxers have been selected to represent the Sarah Baartman district team at the EC provincial championships in Alfred Nzo next month:

The monthly tournament yesterday concluded the Cadets and Juniors local trials.

The selected team will represent our local at the Sarah Baartman district trials, scheduled for Port Alfred on 15 August 2026.

We extend our best wishes to them.

In preparation for the upcoming Sarah Baartman District trials and Eastern Cape Provincial championships for school boys and girls.

A Child Protection Policy is a fundamental document for any organization that works with children.

Three months ago, Khulisa Social Solutions started our safeguarding training, which continued today with a workshop on the Child Protection Policy, conducted by St Mary's DCC.

We appreciate the support of these organizations in maintaining our compliance and relevance.

Today, we were joined by leaders from the Vukani Boxing Club, and we thank them for recognizing our shared challenges at the club level.

Our thanks go to our facilitator, Ms Glenys Arries, and her colleague, Miss Olwethu Kota, for their roles today.

We fielded four boxers in Gqeberha yesterday, securing three wins and one loss.

VIP Boxing & Conditioning deserves commendation for their well-coordinated tournament.

Our next scheduled event is the Makana Boxing Organisation/ Makabo 2024 monthly tournament, set to take place on 25th July 2026, at Indoor Sports Centre.

Gqeberha is the destination this Saturday.

The VIP Boxing & Conditioning club hosts and presents some exhilarating bouts.

Our youth and elite team began the year with notable success. Six of our boxers represented the Eastern Cape team at the Sanabo Boxing Org youth and elite championships from 8th to 11th July 2026 in Kuils River, Western Cape

Eastern Cape Boxing Organization - ECABO achieved first place in the youth category and second place in the elite category.
