That feeling of “not knowing what I want out of life” can be overwhelming—and yet, it’s oddly universal. People aren’t born with clarity; it’s something they uncover, reshape, and sometimes even abandon and reclaim throughout their lives. Here’s what I often suggest:
🌱 Start with Curiosity, Not Pressure
• Instead of asking “What do I want?”, try asking “What am I drawn to right now?”
• Explore small interests, hobbies, or habits—things that feel fulfilling without the weight of needing a long-term plan.
✍️ Journal the Patterns
• Jot down what energizes you and what drains you, especially after conversations, tasks, or outings.
• Look for emotional reactions, not just productivity—sometimes the answer hides in what makes you feel alive, not just accomplished.
💬 Talk It Out
• Chatting with someone who’s a good listener can help untangle thoughts. Sometimes people don’t know what they want because they haven’t had space to articulate it.
• Even saying “I feel stuck because…” opens up a path to deeper understanding.
🧭 Values Before Goals
• Instead of setting goals, reflect on the values you want to live by—freedom, compassion, growth, creativity, etc.
• When your actions align with those values, fulfillment often follows.
🛠 Try, Fail, Learn, Repeat
• There’s no clarity without experimentation. Try new roles, routines, or even relationships—not to commit, but to learn.
• Think of it as building a mosaic from scattered tiles—you won’t know what the picture looks like until you’ve placed a few.
And sometimes, not knowing is its own kind of wisdom. It means you’re still open, still searching, still alive to possibility.

SELF-DISCIPLINE
Cultivate self-discipline instead of excuses.
Accept that self-discipline is not the easiest option. Most of us want quick fixes, but self-discipline is tough. Perhaps because of our hunter-gatherer origins, it’s human nature to conserve our energy, time and resources.
“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.” - Jim Rohn
Self-discipline: When you realize that you need to do something that you do not feel like doing, but then do it anyway.
“With self-discipline anything is possible. I believe discipline is the ultimate key to success as it determines your approach toward every day. Discipline keeps you focused and keeps you performing at a world-class level." - Roger D. Graham Jr
Self-discipline makes the
difference between the good and the great. Average people see discipline as a painful chore to be avoided at all costs. The wise sees it as the ultimate power tool for achievement.
Discipline is more of a decision than it is an active skill. It's the ability to stay the course and complete promises you've made to yourself. The fulfillment of these promises builds confidence and self-esteem, which eventually leads you to believe almost anything is possible. It's a habit.
Discipline is a choice, a decision you adhere to, regardless of whether they feel like it or not. Discipline pushes you past the pain and punishment to feeling fulfilled with the sense of achievement.
"It's easier to act yourself into
good thinking than it is to think yourself into good action." - Bill Gove
It's time you accept something here: You are not perfect! You never will be, and - the best thing is - YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE!
So once and for all stop being so hard on yourself! This is one of the top reasons that prevents people from living a happy and fulfilled life.
Did you know that a lot of the misery we have in our life is because we subconsciously think we have to punish ourselves for something? I'm glad I left the habit of exaggerated self-criticism and selfpunishment behind a long time ago. I'm just conscious that I'm doing the best that I can at any time.
That doesn't mean I don't analyze the many mistakes I made. If I can correct them I do; if I can't correct them - I accept them, let go, and promise myself not to repeat them, because I know it's only a problem if I keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Is that too difficult?
Do you want to know the magic recipe? It's not for sale in any pharmacy and it's free! Ready?
1. Accept yourself as you are!
2. Forgive yourself! Love yourself!
3. Take extremely good care of yourself!
That's it! Easy, isn't it? Start TODAY! Start NOW!
THE DEFINITION OF SUCCESS
Success is not defined by material wealth, possessions or achievements. Success is a way of living that brings glory to God and contentment and peace to yourself and to other people.
Success isn’t static, it’s not a destination it’s not a place. Success is a way of being adapting growing that gets easier the more you practice.
Truly successful people, and I don't mean successful in this world's eyes, believe that success is a process, that life is a journey.
THE FORMULA OF SUCCESS
SUCCESS = Your dreams + fear + doing it anyway.
HOW TO MEASURE SUCCESS ?
Success is measured through pleasure. You’ve got to be happy now. You’ve got to be happy along the way to success. You’ve got to learn to give yourself a pat on the back. “Good job” you need to tell yourself. “I’m proud of myself today”. You’ve got to be happy. You’ve got to learn to enjoy the process. Happiness is achievable every day.
Surround yourself with people that will lift you up, not pull you down.
Keep on teaching yourself about honesty, character, loyalty, integrity, faith, respect and love.
It is vitally important for young people to have good mentors, people they can look up to, who care about them. There is no program in the world that will fix a child who doesn’t feel loved and worthwhile. I encourage you to go and make a difference in life, to spend time in yourself, to be able to make yourself and others feel loved and worthwhile. You have the power to make a difference, one small act at a time. Each act of kindness will reward you with blessings untold. Your smile, an encouraging word, a hope for the future. It takes people to build a better world, one act, one person at a time.
Make a priority of letting yourself be, do and have the things that brings you joy.
Practice changing your perception of other people.
Be diligent about what you pay attention to and what you choose to focus on. To live an enjoyable life, choose to focus on the infinite things there are in life that puts you in a good mood.
