For the love of kayak fishing... Living not far from the coast of Durban, made this transition into kayaking very easy.

Having a love for the ocean and a passion for fishing was enough cause to get introduced to the wonderful world of Kayak fishing. With the lure of snoek, couta, tuna and other gamefish ready to be caught right on my doorstep all I needed was to get out there and catch them. Having tried a few kayaks on the market, they all seemed to lack “the complete package”. Some were fast, but lacked stability

So some time last week Johnson Mac's Mc daddy's phone rang with some news of good game fish heading towards West Street pinetown over the weekend. Actually more towards the east side.

He immediately dropped the call to start a group chatt on what's app. And after a thirsty in depth tactical talk with another 3 squad members their plans for the weekend were made.

Saturday morning they found the location with no issues. And all started fishing hard.

Frans was on fire and Dave also produced thanks to the expertise of his highly qualified quide Tyron.

As you can see they all hooked some amazing fish...
Only Johnson is now wondering was that a spam call...

Well it's been a while since our last post 🤦 but it looks like the fishing is getting alot better as we enter into summer.🌞

New month, new beginnings 💪🏻 for local squad member Richard "The Hoff" Van Der Westhuizen, who's finally broken his roughly 22 week long blanking streak 😲 and we're happy...no more sunrise pictures from him 📸 cause he didn't catch any fish.🤷🤣

The two tuna 🐟 were caught earlier on this month but the tuna/snoek combo 🎣 was today's lucky catch and hatch, well done on all these great fish buddy. 😎🤙🏻
