KASI to KASI Tournament Update:

Ilokishi are pulling every resource available to retain their dignity as leaders of talent in Emalahleni. The first CAF Champions League medal in Witbank comes from Lynnville. The only player to play in the World Cup stage in our town also comes from Lynnville. They believe the bar set by these stars in Ngobe Dumisa and Tshepo Masilela must be maintained.

Recently they had an OPFC Captain in Innocent Maela from Ackerville lifting trophies. Randy Ngobe and Chappies Mathabela are said to be part of their squad. Their technical team is led by a seasoned Coach in George Soko assisted by Sponono who recently acquired her CAF D licence and is on the verge of getting her CAF C licence. Bucs Skhosana alongside Vusi Magagula of Real Ovies will be managing their squad.

This past weekend we were invited by Stars of Mpumalanga to a local tournament that pitted the best u17 in Emalahleni. The event started on Saturday and we were treated to a spectacle where top talent was on display.

We would like to thank the sponsors Dirotech, SOE, organisers, Emalahleni Local Football Association and the Ext 14 and surrounding areas for their role in ensuring that this is a top event. We were left shocked by the quality of all these 8 teams. We can safely and boldly stand on the roof to testify on the future of football in our town.

Congratulations to Stars of Mpumalanga who won a closely contested final which saw not only top structured teams but quality goals being scored. Special thanks to Coach Shoes, Mpho Mafolo, Bheki Mbhede Calvin and Mr Mahlangu for your passion. It might take time for the fruits of your labour but be rest assured that you have our backing 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿.

Please be advised that we have started a process of engaging all football stakeholders to be part of a planned EMALAHLENI FOOTBALL INDABA. This has been part of our yearly plan and with the local Leagues in recess we saw this as an opportunity to talk amongst ourselves with our Local Football Association advising. After our cries as Emalahleni Municipality we would like to thank Kruger United FC for thinking of our aspiring football players. We would like to encourage all the players that qualify to make use of this scarce opportunity and prove once again that we are leaders of talent in these Province 🙏🏿🙏🏿.

It is with great sadness that we learnt of a development Coach who was arrested two days ago on a charge of child molestation. It pains us to know that this seems to be a trend as we have another development Coach in custody for the same charge.

We would like to state that as custodians of sports in Emalahleni that we are totally against this and believe SAPS through their FCS department will do everything to ensure that such individuals are removed from our society. We are also aware that the said individual was previously charged with the same offence but was released.

We would also like to plead with our Local Football Association to do a thorough investigation on all academies locally that tends to offer accommodation for the kids. We will engage the federation in trying to see whether there's something that can be done to protect our kids.

To the parents please ensure that you regularly visit the places where your kids are accommodated and speak to them about their experiences. This will go a long way in curbing this unwanted behaviour of those we entrust our kids with.

To the academy owners we feel for you as we understand that all you trying is to offer a platform for our kids and hope these stupid actions won't make you to turn your backs on them kids. We also plead with you to do a thorough background check on all the Coaches you hire.

As Emalahleni Sports Confederation we are clear on our position that the perpetrator must be dealt with and face the full might of the law. To the victims and their families we promise to engage with all the stakeholders to ensure that justice is served 🙏🏿🙏🏿.

Emalahleni Sports Council would like to take this opportunity and thank each and every person who braved the cold weather to come and offer support to our own eMalahleni United FC this past Saturday. The results were proof of your support on the day.

This coming weekend the boys will be playing the last 180 minutes as they try to secure promotion to the ABC Motsepe League. We will be hosting Mjali All Stars from Gert Sibande in our semi final and the boys are aware of the task ahead.

We therefore plead with every player,coach, administrator and football lovers of our town to make their way to Witbank High and let the opposition feel that they are away. Your support will be highly appreciated and the boys needs it more than ever. #1039

We urge all football loving people of our town to come in numbers to support the best talent in Emalahleni. They represent our hope for professional football ekasi lethu. There's no better place to be tomorrow at 3pm than to attend the second leg of SAB Regional League play offs at the iconic Lynnville Stadium. The pride of Witbank eMalahleni United FC are hosting their rivals Chakalaka FC from Phola as the former are leading the tie by 3 goals to 1.

We would like to wish both Emalahleni Municipality teams all the best and may the best team win. Having said that we also wish our Chairperson who happens to be one of the Coaches at Emalahleni United all the best as the team tries to secure an ABC Motsepe promotion.
