A client wanted a tailored upgrade for his Mk7 GTI, and we were happy to help. He supplied a set of Audi RS calipers that we gave a makeover to, and while we were at it, we added the CS logos for the Clubsport theme he's doing. The OEM discs wouldn't cut it, so we supplied a set of customised 2-piece floating discs.
Improved braking performance with great aesthetics, that's a win in our books.
What do you think of the OEM/aftermarket combo?

Hearing about 6-pot brakes could be a little confusing if you're not the type who tinkers with cars a lot, especially if 4-pot and 8-pot enters the chat. Basically, a pot in this case is actually a piston, it just sounds cooler and keeps confusion away from talk about engines and pistons.
Here's a brief explanation on what the differences are...

The Fairmont GT isa rare Ford with roots in South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. These were originally assembled in South Africa from knock-down kits to get them in the country. They usually featured the Rally Pack that gave the car stainless steel hubcaps, GT stripes, and the choice of a 4-speed manual or automatic transmission - paired with the 351 CU 4V motor to give it some great get up and go.
In stock trim, these cars had front brakes that used a 286 mm ventilated discs up front with 254 mm drums taking up the rear. Thatโs not a lot of braking power for a heavy steel-bodied muscle car, and getting hold of replacement parts is as much of a nightmare as youโd imagine.
Vari Racing is here to save classic car owners with replacement kits that offer up better clamping power over bigger discs. We can tailor something for you, from 4-pot to 6-pot kits and bigger, if needed.
This GT received a complete upgrade with bigger discs and calipers up front, while the rear now features discs and calipers too, no more drums. Easier to service, easier to get pads and much easier on the eyes too, not to mention that braking distance changes from being measured in calendar months to seconds.

Plenty sports cars and supercars can be optioned with carbon ceramic brakes from the factory. With some brands, ticking that option box can cost more than a small hatcnack, and future maintenance can also add up. Here at Vari Racing Brakes we have a way to help protect your investment and save money at the same time.
We can make up a kit that replaces the carbon ceramic components with a "regular" iron setup. This allows owners to store their expensive ceramic setup off the car to keep mint and replace when it comes time to sell/trade again so they can retain those all-important trade values.
The iron setup is more affordable, pads are easier to source and the best part is they they work from cold unlike ceramics that need to get up to operating temperature before being effective.
To add some sugar on top, we can customise the discs, just like on this Ferrari, clearly owned by a fan. IYKYK ๐

Its Mustang Monday!
You might think your Mustang's brakes are good enough, and they are for a school run and heading to the local takeaway joint. They can even hold up for a mild track day. But you didn't buy a Mustang to be mediocre, well we hope you didn't. If you're not exploiting a 5.0 V8, you should sell your 'Stang for a Volvo and a Cocker Spaniel.
If you do make that V8 roar, then we have an upgrade you should seriously consider, our Vari Racing Brakes Big 6 kit.
OEM discs get replaced with a set of larger 2-piece discs (floating or non-floating), calipers get replaced with 6-pot aluminium calipers, and you get a set of two mounting brackets, two braided brake lines, a set of performance brake pads and all the necessary mounting hardware.
