What a day 💜
From getting out on the water and giving rowing a go to meeting new people, making memories and having way too many laughs along the way. Our open day had it all 🚣‍♀️

Congratulations 𝒥𝑒𝒶𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝑅𝒾𝑒𝓂𝒶𝓃𝓃 on an inspirational u23 world championship regatta!!🇿🇦

Jeanne was racing in the under 23 women’s four alongside 3 other athletes which progressed through the regatta making it all the way into the A final. The four four finished with a 6th place finish in the world.

We are extremely proud of all of you for raising the flag so high & we can’t wait to see what you achieve next!

A huge congratulations to HRS Old Girl Jeanne Riemann, who finished 2nd in her heat of the women’s four at the U23 World Rowing Championships and has secured her place in the semi-finals. We’re incredibly proud of you, Jeanne! Keep on going! 🇿🇦

Also over in Germany is current HRS athlete Kate Zillen, who has recently returned from the RowSA U16 UK Tour and is there supporting her brother, Troy Zillen, who has also qualified for the semi-finals of the lightweight single. Best of luck, Troy. We’re all behind you!
