Yesterday's hike at Wings Park was wet! The coffee at the end was most welcome. Thank you to Dave Taylor for sharing this lovely hike with us. It was a good work out and we will be back again in the near future🚶♂️🌺🥰

Wow, that was Fish River Canyon 2026!
It finally got on the road after changes to dates and hikers. Not everyone was fully prepared though! At least now we have a bigger group of Let's Hikers who have done the trail and can offer their expertise...
There was lots to learn too.
The trail itself was spectacular having had a lot of rain recently and it meant we had plenty of drinkable water along the way. Swimmable too!
Thanks to the Namibian Police who rescued two of hikers as they could walk no further (and they didn't have helivac insurance 🥺).
And to the club's Garmin Inreach Messenger who enabled us to be in contact with the rescue services.
See you on the next one in 2027?

Thank you Brechta for leading us on the undulating paths of Aloedale Farm. At least there were the same number of downs as there were ups!
Great walk!

Superb weekend to Nqabara near Dwesa Nature Reserve. Two great hikes before the weather arrived - had lots of laughs and serious conversations too...
Thank you Ros for hosting us, it's much appreciated.
