Some wonderful images, captured by the lovely Klara from Outwest photography, from our recent Working Equitation clinic. We are so grateful to have had Julie from ZAWE come and share her knowledge.
A place of safety; peace from the chaos of life; providing comfort, hope and a sense of refuge.

Some stories are meant to come full circle. đ¤đ´
We're so excited to be part of the Slater family's happily ever after as Bluebell finds her forever home.
After being loved by the eldest sister, it's now Taylor and Holly's turn to create their own special memories. We can't wait to watch this next chapter unfold.
For now, we're just enjoying seeing Bluebell settle in and tuck into a yummy lunch. Welcome home, beautiful girl! đŠśâ¨

One of our studentsâ favourite lessons is when we head out on the trails to explore, chat, and unwind together.
Many of our classical riding students arrive eager to share their stories and catch up. We love listening, but during regular lessons we also need to help them stay focused on their riding goals. Thatâs why we believe our termly trail rides are so valuable that theyâre built into our lesson programme.
These rides give students the chance to relax, connect, and chat freely while developing their skills as they navigate some wonderfully challenging terrain. Itâs the perfect balance of learning, confidence-building, and enjoyment.

âI took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.â
â Henry David Thoreau
We love our pine forest trail. We can't wait to upgrade it with more sensory and interactive features in the future. But the twisty trails, ups and downs and all the natural forest textures and sounds already make it special and adventurous.

Here's another "More than just" principle we live by at our yard. Sadly, we see so many young riders that are capable in the saddle but can't confidently put a halter on. We don't believe in hop on-hop off, even our youngest riders get slowly introduced to these skills.
Grit & Grindâ wasnât just a theme â it was lived out, sudden cold weather would have most riders cozy at home but not these girls.
Watching our girls experience their first cross-country show jumping accumulator course, making their own decisions, finding their lines and developing partnership with their horses was something special.
Building on our previous clinicâs focus of rhythm and trust, this session reminded us that confidence doesnât appear overnight â itâs earned through consistency, courage, and a willingness to keep learning.
âProgress with autism is like stringing beads â one careful bead at a time. What seems small today may become something extraordinary tomorrow.â
A beautiful moment, capturing how Shay finds the movement of Ziniah a focusing aid. All of our therapy students love the movement of the horses to help them regulate but Shay in particular has expressed a NEED for this in order to help him task complete (normally we task motivate with movement after completion but here the movement is actually necessary at the start instead so that Shay becomes co-operative and engaged)
