So we need your vote...which one do we do first!? We have a really ugly grey wall and we think ugly walls are great spaces for a mural. Please comment or give your favourite a ❤️.
A fun fact about Instructor Heather, is that after school she studied fine arts at University. It's been a looong time since she picked up a paintbrush, but we are pretty confident anything will look better than the ugly wall.

We believe that every student is different—and finding the right balance is at the heart of what we do. Some days, a rider needs a little breather: time to slow down, enjoy their horse and simply reconnect. Other days, they need a target to work towards, a challenge to stretch them and a goal to celebrate. We believe in meeting each student where they are, while gently helping them grow from there. Because sometimes progress means pushing forward, and sometimes it means taking a breath. Different environments can help us to achieve this, and we are so blessed to have both.

Blue skies, fresh air, and fun in the saddle—just the way we like it!
One of the best parts of riding is discovering just how much fun different equestrian disciplines can be! From games and working equitation to show jumping, dressage and more, every activity builds new skills, confidence, and a deeper partnership with your horse. Learning should always be an adventure! 🐴💙

It’s not about rushing to the next milestone — it’s about building the foundations to get there.
We’re not interested in showing off how quickly a rider can progress. We’re interested in creating well-rounded, confident riders with skills that last a lifetime.

Another glimpse into our recent holiday activities, Haven Hills termly FUNday, we got to have a wonderful afternoon doing gymkhana games together (these events are fully inclusive, so therapy students and even non riders that are friends & family of our human herd are encouraged to participate).

Confidence and communication with our ponies starts long before we put a foot in the stirrup. Good riders are made in the saddle, but great riders are made from the ground.

Some wonderful images, captured by the lovely Klara from Outwest photography, from our recent Working Equitation clinic. We are so grateful to have had Julie from ZAWE come and share her knowledge.
