Number one farm rule - don’t name the animals, so you don’t get attached.
Well… that rule didn’t last very long. 😂
As time has gone on, they’ve all picked up their own little nicknames, but one in particular became very special to us - Granny.
She was one of our first ladies on the farm. One of the original girls who helped start it all. ❤️
Today was a difficult day for us as our Granny passed on. And as much as we swore we wouldn’t get attached, somewhere along the way she became part of the family.
Thank you, Granny, for helping grow our flock, providing us with endless eggs, and for all the cuddles, funny moments and character you brought to the farm.
You were one of the originals, and you’ll always have a special place here on the farm.
Rest easy, old girl. 🐔🤍
