Hollywoodbets Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club is delighted to welcome Hollywoodbets Dolphins all-rounder Romashan Pillay to the Eagles family for the upcoming season.

One of KwaZulu-Natal’s brightest young talents, Romashan has already made his mark through his performances for the Dolphins and South Africa’s Under-19 side, earning a reputation as a dynamic all-rounder with immense potential.

His professionalism, work ethic and passion for the game perfectly embody the values of our club and we are excited to see the impact he will make both on and off the field.

We look forward to seeing you in maroon and sky blue and wish you every success as part of the Eagles.

Some players leave a lasting impression not only through their performances but through the example they set every single day. Slade van Staden is undoubtedly one of those players.

Since joining Hollywoodbets Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club in 2018, Slade has established himself as one of the premier batters in our Premier League side. His consistency at the crease, ability to deliver under pressure and relentless pursuit of excellence saw him rewrite the record books by scoring the most runs in a single season for the club—an achievement that reflects both his talent and dedication to the game.

However, Slade’s legacy extends well beyond the runs he has scored. He has been a leader both on and off the field, someone who has always been willing to guide younger players, share his experience and invest in the growth of those around him. His professionalism, humility and commitment to the Sporting badge have made him a respected teammate and an invaluable member of our club.

No matter the occasion, Slade has always answered the call when Sporting needed him. His loyalty and willingness to contribute in every way possible have helped shape the culture of our Premier League side and strengthen the club as a whole.

As he begins an exciting new chapter with the SWD Badgers, we couldn’t be prouder. While his presence in the maroon and sky blue will certainly be missed, we know this opportunity is one he has earned through years of hard work, perseverance and outstanding performances.

Slade, thank you for everything you have given to Hollywoodbets Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club. We are grateful for your commitment, your leadership and the example you have set for generations of Sporting cricketers.

After 15 incredible years in the maroon and sky blue, it is time to bid farewell to one of Hollywoodbets Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club’s finest servants, Courtney Gounden.

Since joining the club in 2011 as an Under-11 player, Courtney has been an integral part of the Sporting family. Through dedication, hard work and an unwavering passion for the game, she progressed through our junior structures, earned her place in the women’s team and proudly led the side as captain.

Throughout her time at the club, Courtney has been instrumental in one of the most successful eras in our women’s cricket history, helping the team secure seven Premier League titles and six T20 League titles. Her achievements on the field speak for themselves but her impact extends far beyond the boundary.

Courtney has been a role model to our younger players, always willing to lend a helping hand, share her knowledge and inspiring the next generation of cricketers. Her leadership, commitment and love for the club have left a lasting legacy that will continue to influence those who follow in her footsteps.

As Courtney embarks on an exciting new journey with the SWD Badgers, we do so with immense pride. While it is never easy saying goodbye to someone who has given so much to our club, we know she will continue to achieve great things and represent herself with the same passion and determination that defined her time at Sporting.

Congratulations to our very own Shreeya Subbiah on her selection to represent the South Africa Under-19 Women’s Team for the upcoming tour of Pakistan!

Everyone at Chatsworth Sporting is incredibly proud of Shreeya on this well-deserved achievement. Being selected to represent your country is a true testament to the countless hours of hard work, dedication, perseverance and commitment that she has invested in her cricket journey.

This tour is also a historic occasion, as it marks the first-ever South Africa Under-19 Women’s tour to Pakistan, making this an even more special milestone for Shreeya and South African women’s cricket.

Shreeya will be in action from tomorrow until 24 July and we wish her and the entire South African squad every success throughout the tour. We have no doubt that she will continue to make her club, province and country proud.

Hollywoodbets Chatsworth Sporting Cricket Club extends its very best wishes to our Premier League batsman, Joshua van Biljon, as he begins his tour of England tomorrow with the South Africa Under-19 team.

Joshua will feature in three Youth One-Day Internationals and two unofficial Test matches proudly representing South Africa on the international stage.

To represent your country is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment you have shown throughout your cricketing journey. We are immensely proud to see one of our own earn this opportunity and have no doubt that you will represent both South Africa and our club with distinction.

Shreeya Subbiah was recognised for her exceptional season, receiving awards for:

Sihana Naidu was named Premier Women’s Bowler of the Year, a testament to her hard work and consistency throughout the season.

Avish Ramdhani claimed the Veterans Batsman of the Year award after another remarkable campaign with the bat.

Adding to the celebrations, Charles Webber and Grant Durose have been selected to represent South Africa in the SA Veterans squad. 🇿🇦👏
