Bobbies are aware of possible bad weather for the Daga Competition, we have set aside 2 alternatives 12/13 September and 26/27 September in case of bad weather.
Prize breakdown:
1st Heaviest Daga - R15 000 cash.
2nd Heaviest Daga- R10 000 cash
3rd Heaviest Daga R5 000 cash

🎤 Briefing: Friday, 4 September – 19:00 @ Bobbies Angling Club
🎣 Lines In: Saturday, 5 September – 15:00
⏰ Lines Up: Sunday, 6 September – 08:00
⚖️ Scales Open: Sunday – 08:00
⚖️ Scales Close: Sunday – 11:00 (you must be in the queue before 11:00 for your fish to qualify)

🏆 Prize Giving: Sunday – 12:00

💰 Entry Fee: R350 per angler

🚤 Launch from any recognised launch site between Ballito and Umkomaas.
🎣 Fish anytime between Lines In and Lines Up, with unlimited launches during competition hours.

📏 Competition Rules
• Only ONE Dusky Cob over 1.1m may be weighed in per angler.
• No mutilated fish may be weighed for the Top 3 prizes.
• Please respect all legal bag and size limits in accordance with current fishing regulations.

🌊 Bad Weather Date: 12–13 September 2026.

📸 By entering, anglers agree that winners' photos may be used by the organising committee for future promotional material.
