S.O.C.A - Sport on Court Africa

We have a private internal company league kicking off this afternoon with the Unlimited group at Westville Soca.

We have been looking forward to this league for a while and the first day turned out perfectly. The weather was ideal, the players were super excited, they even had cheerleaders who were getting everyone going before the games even started. Talk about getting into the vibe from the start.

After watching the games start I just thought, what a great way to bring staff together, outside of the office.
It is such Endorphin creating, team spiriting building, heart rate pumping fun. I have seen a single game of football change how people interact with each other permanently. Why, because sports brakes down all boundaries and brings people together.

Congratulations to Southside who went unbeaten this season to grab the Gateway Soca 5 title on the final night.

It came down to the final night of the season between East Coast Radio and Southside who both had a chance to grab the title.

Well done and thank you to all the teams that took part. We had some great match ups and plenty epic goals from all the teams.

This was a very enjoyable game for the players. The pace of the game was quick but the players were chilled... Golden Abros were unlucky this season. It's always tough the first season as players get used to the game and the courts. They showed some great fight and scored some great goals this season but battled to finish the job. Flow city were hugely improved from their first season. It will be interesting to see what happens next season.

A world cup style tournament, complete with national anthems and plenty fun footy. Abv Sugar got into the world cup spirit with a massive full day five a side football tournament last week and we all had a blast. Such great vibes and atmosphere as their staff battled it out tonsee how really was the top team.

What a scene it was for the final when the teams lined up and sang our national anthem... Goose bumps

Corporate Football Days bring everyone together.

Holiday time in Durban is the best time of the year. It is the perfect time to enjoy an outdoor football fun party with your besties.

These guys and gals really know how to have a good time. It's always great to see so many smiles on a football field.

We have been looking forward to this mouth watering encounter since the schedules for confirmed. Being on the last night it could easily have been a league decider but it didn't quite work out for both teams this season.

God First have proved to be a big moment team and have taken down all the tops sides at some stage, they were one of the favorites to win the league along with thuginn.fc who recently represented KZN in the 5Quad league national finals in Johannesburg. They finished a very respectable 3rd place against the best teams in South Africa. Well done gents, unlucky on not going all the way but that is a wonderful achievement.

🔥🔥🔥🔥Congratulations🔥🔥🔥🔥 to Roc Boys who were needing just a single point to wrap the league up on the final evening. They have been fantastic the whole season managing to beat some of the best teams in Durban. An unbelievable achievement for our local lads, Well done gents.

Winning the Epl makes them the top team at Crusaders and our New Champions 🏆.

They were going through the motions against a very good Brasil Team last night and still came away with a 7 -1 win. This piece of play should have been another score but keeper did well to disarm.

Well done to Nhlanhla and his team, please can we take a picture of your celebrations soon.

Nice one two finish for All Stars..

With all the Bafana Bafana Games on Thursday nights we have only just been able to finish the league last night. Thank you to all the teams for making the time to play last night. It was great to see the lads having a thrash again.

The league has just about been wrapped up by Roc Boys who needed just one point on the final night to secure a massive league win against some of the best teams in Durban.

Thank you to all the teams that took part, you guys have really pushed the level of this sport and it is an awesome thing to see. My hats off to everyone.

This was a classic game that All Stars commanded from the start. Made for great viewing, however the keepers were out thru their paces.

Congratulations to Supa Strikers for winning the Bundesliga at Crusaders last night.

Despite loosing their final game Supa Strikers had already wrapped the league before kick off in this very competitive C league.

Well done gents and thanks you to all the teams that took part, this league is very competitive and next season is to be very interesting as Supa Strikers have earned their way up to the higher division.
