From Our First Steps to Our First Big Competition 🤸♀️✨
Earlier this year, we took a leap and started tumbling as a club. Today, we had the opportunity to compete at the Gauteng competition alongside clubs from different districts across Gauteng.
This was our first big tumbling competition as a club, and I could not be prouder of each and every gymnast who stepped onto the floor today. ❤️
Watching their growth, courage, determination and confidence from where we started to where we are today makes all the hard work worth it. Every gymnast received a silver 🥈 medal
This is only the beginning! Keep learning, keep pushing and keep believing in yourselves. I am incredibly proud of you all. 🥹❤️🤸♀️🥈

Gymnastics South Africa hosted its annual Gymnastics Awards on 25 July at the National Training Centre in Centurion.
Congratulations to our coach, Florence Cindi, on receiving the Federation Award for Rising Star of the Year.
Coach Florence, this recognition is truly well deserved. Your dedication, passion, and commitment to the development of our gymnasts continue to inspire us all. We are incredibly proud of your achievement and grateful for the positive impact you make in the lives of our athletes.

Gauteng Festival 2026
The Gauteng Festival took place from 12–16 June, and our club competed on 13 June, which was also our very first Tumbling competition. The introduction of Tumbling to our club was inspired by Jané van Zyl's passion and enthusiasm for the sport.
Results:
🥈 Lwandle-competed in the 9–10 years, Level 1-age group. Out of 13 participants,she achieved an excellent 7th place and received a silver Medal.
🥇 Jané van Zyl- competed in the 11–12 years, Level 1- age group. Out of 5 participants, she finished in 1st place and also received a special teddy bear.
A heartfelt thank you to the Gauteng Festival organisers for making the day extra special. From the wonderful gift bags to the teddies awarded to the gymnasts, every detail contributed to a memorable experience for our athletes.
Congratulations to Lwandle and Jané on their achievements. We are incredibly proud of you both and look forward to many more Tumbling successes in the future! 🎉🤸♀️🏅
