Three WPCC ladies in the Ladies Open A. That's not nothing.

Claire Cowan, Elma Louw and Colleen Bryant on the top side for WP vs Boland. Michelle De Beer (Reynolds) joins in the B, Luke Ellis in the Men's B, and Les Ryan and Warren Hewitt are already through for the Vets side heading to 2027.

Seven names on selection lists inside a fortnight. Hats off to every one of them, and to every player picked across the province.

🏅 The WP Men's Veterans side for the 2027 Inter Districts is out.

Two in WPCC blue: Les Ryan and Warren Hewitt. 💙🧡Alongside them, Kevin Smith (Durbanville Bowling Club), Carl Marshall (Constantia Bowling Club), Wally Brown (Old Oak Bowling Club), Nico Taljaard (Somerset West Bowls Club), and Junaid Alcock and Wilfred Hoyose from Glen Country Club.

Big well done to all eight men picked to represent WP. Bring on 2027.

The last hurdle before the WP Ladies squad for 2027 gets picked.

Thirty-three ladies made it through to the final round this weekend, plus three juniors invited for development.

The WP Ladies Selection Committee have invited the following players to Round 2 of the Ladies Inter District Trials for 2027. We wish you all good bowling on Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 August 2026 at Durbanville.
